This intensive workshop is intended to equip artists with skills and ideas
for founding, running, and closing institutions. Participants will be
encouraged to prototype a fantastical organization—one that they would like
to see—from scratch and close it, as an exercise in the institutional
imagination. Please bring: paper and pencil or laptop.
Leader: David Borgonjon is a curator and writer. He
teaches curating at Rhode Island School of Design and is completing a PhD
at Columbia University. He is a part of www.admin.network.
Free and open to the public, however, advance registration required.
Depending on availability, tickets may be obtained on-site in the
conference registration area.
