Is There a Place for Color Theory in Today's Art Classroom? Color Theory—Color Mixing

A hands-on painting workshop in CMYK color mixing, with an open discussion about color theory, color wheels, color mixing guides, as they relate to today's interdisciplinary artists. Participants will have an opportunity to create a personal color wheel using the CMYK contemporary approach to color mixing.

Leader: Dee Solin, MFA, School of Visual Arts, exhibiting artist living and working in the Hudson River Valley. Solin creates workshops for artists, developing presentation skills through performance and practical color theory for applied arts.

Free and open to the public, however, advance registration required. Depending on availability, tickets may be obtained on-site in the conference registration area.
