A workshop and discussion on self-promotional leave-behinds and mailers.
What works, what doesn’t? Let's explore containers, foldouts, die cuts, and
clever constructions. View self-promotion objects from working
illustrators, including: postcards, zines, tee shirts, bookmarks, pencils,
etc. Think outside the box—make the box! Please bring: samples of your work
or portfolio, sketch book, pencils, and scissors.
Leader: Elaine Cardella-Tedesco is an award-winning
illustrator whose collages and assemblages have appeared in publications
throughout the world. She is currently working on mechanical pieces that
open, swing, or spin to reveal surprises.
Free and open to the public, however, advance registration required.
Depending on availability, tickets may be obtained on-site in the
conference registration area.
